2009年Olimpiad Matematik Kebangsaan比赛


20/6/2009 早上8时正，全体参赛者在光前堂集合，听取老师的指示，并耐心地等候巴士的来临。（当天也为学术学艺展）巴士在9：20a.m. 将参赛者载到马大比赛。大家在路上有说有笑，有些同学更在巴士上作最后的冲刺，把握时间多看题目。当天天不作美，下了一场倾盆大雨。比赛时间为10：00a.m. 至12：00p.m.。同学们都努力发挥自己最好的表现，希望能在比赛中获奖，为学会及学校争光。

注意：比赛事项

2009年新加坡奥林匹克数学(SMO)比赛

比赛日期：2/6/2009（二）

报到日期：9:15am

比赛时间：9:30am-12:00pm

p/s: 穿整齐的校服，带回校准证，2B 铅笔，身份证或学生证

Find the sum of the every digits.

(the sum of digits of 13 and 14 is 1+3+1+4=9)

ab^2 .. square is just for b.
(ab)^(1/3) means ab inside the root（根号）

IMO 1959 Q1

Ok...So i'm the first to write a post here tat doesn't regard past year competition results. So, befitting for our society, i'm going to share with all of u the first question of the first ever International Mathematics Olympiad. Now, dun let the name scare u as tis question is actually quite easy and can be solved by form 1 students oso i'm sure. Ok...good form 1 students then....so here's it:

Prove that (21n+4)/(14n+3) is an irreducible fraction.
